This is a scarce 75th Anniversary Battle of Gettysburg veteran's medal as awarded to the several thousand Union and Confederate veterans who attended the Last Reunion of the Blue and the Grey in Gettysburg in the summer of 1938. This one is officially named on the ribbon slide bar to "FREDERICK H. CRAFTS."I found quite a bit on him on Ancestry and other sources. Born May 12, 1849 in Elmira, New York, he was fifteen when he enlisted at Williamsport, Pennsylvania on 18 February, 1865.
