Rare example of an original, named Order of Saint Maurice medallion and matching lapel pin, awarded by the US National Infantry Association and Chief of Infantry to nominees that have "served the Infantry community with distinction, demonstrated a signficant contribution in support of the Infantry, and represented the highest standards of integrity, moral character, professional comepetence and dediation to duty. This is the third highest level of the Award - Legionnaire. It is named on the reverse side, with appropriate LO number. I will not give out the name of the recipient to inquiries, so please do not ask for it. Medallion and pin are in the factory issue presentation case and do not appear to have ever been worn or taken out.
